Do cat need vegetable?

Cats are oblicate carnivore means they are biologically designed to get all their required nutrient from meat. They requested some nutrients like taurine, arginine, aracidonic acid etc as an essential nutrients but plant material dont contain enough of these even some nutrients like taurin, ascorbic acid are totally absent in plants. And cat's digestive systems are adopted to digest protein and fat from animal more effectively than plant material or carbohydrate. They lack slaivary amylase but have pancreatic amylase which help to digest a little amount of carbohydrate. In certain life stage or condition cat may need to be fed carbohydrate or plant material such as for fiber and digestive health. Sometime carbohydrate can act as an energy source for pragnent cat. So you cam use plant material in a small amount in your cat's diet but not as a main energy source. It may cause some nutritious nal deficiency in your cat health.
